We recommend Aetna if your dentist does not participate with the Ameritas Network. 

• While you are not required to use an in-network provider, you will have lower costs for services if you do. Aetna utilizes the Careington network (click to search providers).

What happens if I see an out of network dentist?

• Aetna does NOT require that you use a network dentist.  If you use an out of network provider, your reimbursement will be based on Usual and Customary charges (average rate for that service in your geographic area).  If your dentist charges more than the “average” rate for services, you may be billed the difference.

Dental Vision Hearing Plan

• Covers up to 80% of Preventive and 60% of Major Services
• Up to $200/year for Vision
• Up to $500/year for Hearing
